But you actually won a 0.18 mol ruby, so you'll need to multiply the weight of one mol by 0.18, giving you a final weight of 18.3 grams. That's about same as about 100 carats and would be a huge crystal. Sadly such large crystals rarely have much value as gems. Too bad...
But the good news is that you are now familiar with what a mole is and how it is calculated.
